Alex and Laura knew they wanted to create a second income stream from the property, and it all started with a phone call to Cubitt's. In this first call they were able to describe what they were looking to do, and ask questions about the build process

The next step was a visit from a granny flat design consultant who came out to their property to assess the site conditions. There they discussed things like site access, the fall of the land,  the best position for a granny flat under a council CDC or DA and they were able to have the granny flat location marked out in paint on the lawn, getting a feel for how the property would work once their investment was built.

The granny flat design consultant then worked with Cubitt's expert local planning team who built a feasibility study and design, preparing for the appropriate council application, and finalised the 'turn-key' cost, so Alex and Laura knew exactly how much they'd be investing.

Delighted by the seamless process, Alex and Laura chose to go ahead with their granny flat build with Cubitt's and this video describes their journey with us.
